For what it is worth - his bio from Eastern Kentucky: https://ekusports.com/coaches.aspx?path=football&rc=865 Looks like he was credited with turning their Offensive Line around and they were recognized for limiting the number of sacks they were giving up - so liking that bit of the resume. 4
NewEra Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Hopefully he’s a future head coach and this can be the place where he turns into a genius 1

I'd say I don't have a reason to dis-like it. At some point, the players just need to be able to make plays and get us some W's. Hopefully he's a part of that process in a positive way for the line. For what it's worth, here's the bio given for Andrew Dees, the coach he replaces, at the time of that hire: https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/1/20/14343200/buffalo-bills-hire-andrew-dees-as-assistant-offensive-line-coach Nothing jumps out at me that Dees was somehow that much more eminently qualified, so there's that. 1

tcampbell104 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 it definitely looks like the coaching staff is getting younger
MJS Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Same thoughts I have about any position coaches that the Bills or any team hires: Don't know and don't care. Bring in whoever you want. There aren't fans who follow the sport well enough to know if these are good or bad moves. I start caring at coordinator level and above. 2

GRHater69 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 We already had Chris Farley with Carl Mauck. When I saw the name Heffernan I thought it was the actor who played Farva in Supertroopers.
