TJ Hockenson !

Also Chase Winovich (little Clay Matthews)

I haven’t watched enough/read enough about this year’s prospects yet, but what I have seen in games and read about Hockenson is intriguing.  He is reportedly an outstanding blocker and pretty good receiver as well.  I watched tha game cut up against Wisconsin last year so far and he looks like a better, smoother athlete than you might think for a really good blocking TE.

He provided 3 names of players he's looked at/like. 2 of them are likely to go after the 3rd round. Pretty sure he wasn't implying they neglect the OL.

That particular guy does more research on these guys than just about anyone on the board.

Yeah I’m 100% on board with addressing OLine in the draft and or free agency.

Then why in the world are you suggesting we potentially use multiple 4th or 5th rd picks on wide receivers?

Edit. I'm starting to get the feeling that Brady may work himself into the 3rd round.

I am really liking what I am hearing about Risner.  He is certainly rising fast it seems.

My draft crush is N'Keal Harry.  His highlight real is like WR Porn.  I also really like Metcalf, expecting a big combine from him.

Will probably be a top 50 pick...not sure I’m a fan.

Great hands but...

Doesn’t seem very ‘game fast’ and it appears he can’t get separation.

Not done too much research on him so my opinion is worth dick

Ha all good, love the honesty haha.  If he has a decent or better 40 time at the combine I think he very well ends up being first WR off the board.  Metcalf though is another guy who can really rise with a strong combine too though.  Just a great overall draft at WR, so I am exited.  There is a legit 7 to 10 guys that all have first round potential going into the combine.  Obviously not all going in the 1st, just saying there are 7 to 10 guys that can really make a case to go in the first if they shine at the combine.  So even if we dont go WR in round 1, should be some sexy talent there still in Rd 2 too.

I was watching Fant and kept noticing the "other" TE. I believe he will be a great TE in the Jason Witten  mode.

After watching the Senior Bowl and taking a closer look, I really hope the Bills end up drafting Keelan Doss from UC Davis.  He is a great route runner with good size and decent speed.  He is currently projected as a 6-7 rounder but my guess is that he will move up during the draft process. If he is available  in the 4th round, I hope we run to the podium.

He is a great Beane and McDermott type player. Team leader who had an opportunity to transfer to a bigger school in his senior year for more exposure, but he chose to stay at UC Davis to continue helping grow their program.

https://www.nfldraftdiamonds.com/2018/08/keelan-doss/

“He came back for us,” said Jake Maier, the Aggies’ junior quarterback. “He could’ve been selfish, he could’ve left and took his talents to the NFL or even (Football Bowl Subdivision) ball, but he decided that we were more important than that, so just from that action alone, that makes him one of the best leaders I’ve ever been around.”

The 6-foot-3 captain isn’t only one of the best leaders that Maier’s seen, he may also be one of the best student-athletes that UC Davis coach Dan Hawkins has ever had.

Doss, who will graduate in December with a sociology degree, was recently named to the STATS Football Championship Subdivision preseason All-America first team after a record-setting season in 2017.

The 2017 Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year set all-time UC Davis records with 115 receptions and 1,499 receiving yards, while being ranked No. 1 in both the FCS and FBS in receiving yards, receiving yards per game (136.3) and receptions per game (10.5).

“It’s hard to find a small guy that runs like him, let alone a big guy,” Hawkins said, “so he’s a matchup problem with his size and … no offense because I’ve coached some really good players, but I just think you start looking at grades and size and speed and you start putting all that stuff together, he’s pretty darn special.”

Just saw a USA Today mock draft which had the Bills trading back to the 15th spot and garnering and extra 2nd round pick.

In the first two rounds, they had the Bills taking:

OT Greg Little
WR Hakeem Butler
WR Marquise Brown

Not too bad. And in their scenario, TE Hockenson was actually still available when they picked Marquise Brown. That's who I'd take instead in this scenario.

I'm OK with this. I'd like for the Bills to get WRs with a big catch radius. Butler and Hunter Renfrow would be ideal.

Insert “Mike Evans” for everything you just addressed.

I just discovered Memphis WR/RB/KR/PR Tony Pollard and WHOA! Perfect player to pick up in the 4th. Why spend a 2nd on Parris Campbell when you can get Tony Pollard who's probably a better player?

Hollywood Brown.

Last year it was Baker. The year before it was Cooper Kupp/JuJu/Zay, unfortunately its looking like we got the worst one...

risner but i bet the bills have to draft him at 9

Excuse me?

He's a second round pick at best. Who the hell drafts a RT top 10? He also got abused by the top pass rushers that are coming out. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Watch his tape against Sweat. It was embarrassing.

Im crushing on him too.  The AJ Green comparison is spot on too. Right down to the number 18. Imagine Allen with a guy like Butler....

Butler is gonna be a great pro.  If he runs sub-4.50 at the combine, look out.  He might end a first rounder.  Great size, great hands, route running....looks fast to me..
