PromoTheRobot Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Big Mike comes full circle to coach his alma mater. 14 2
RoyBatty is alive Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Congrats to him. He was always a standup guy here, i recall he even did a few charity events. Great for him. 2
Blokestradamus Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 I'm happy for the big guy. He's found the path that works for him and he seems like he's really trying to make an impact on those around him. He's come a long way from the small schooler that was so heavy, they needed farming equipment to get an accurate weight 3
jimmy10 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Good for mike, but man, I hope he can get his weight under control.
eball Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 (edited) Mount Jasper? Man, I remember the days when we hoped he would become our next Jason Peters, with Leif Larsen anchoring the D line. Edited January 25, 2019 by eball 3

wppete Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Happy for big Mike. He seemed like a really nice guy. Good luck to him.

ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Like the alien plant in Little Shop of Horrors, maybe he ate the kid. Can we arrange for him to have a late lunch with Brady? 1

I do know people who played basketball with him and apparently he is great athlete for his size. but props to him. Very impressive to get a head coaching at a college at his age. Best of luck to him.

And coaching isn’t going to help that. Coaching is awful for your physical and mental health.

No one will ever run on the Bills again!

Buffalo Bills football from 2000-2016 is all a giant poopy blur...but Leif Larsen was a full era before Jasper. He was the guy John Butler drafted instead of Tom Brady back in 2000 because he could wrestle polar bears or something. Jasper was a 2011 Nix guy.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 25, 2019 Author Posted January 25, 2019 (edited) His signed jersey hangs in my mancave. Edited January 25, 2019 by PromoTheRobot 1 2 1
CaptnCoke11 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 I hear he’s trying to hire Brandon Reilly as OC 1
White Linen Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 He was a pretty amazing athlete for a man his size and ridiculously strong. Just goes to show how incredible these NFL players are - when you can make an athletic massive human being look totally inadequate. 1
BillsfaninChicago Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 I remember there were some crazy videos of his workouts that were on line. I always held out hope that his athleticism would translate to something on the field for us which it never did. Awesome to see he is doing well though.

Way to go you crazy Norwegian Shot Putter.
