I generally agree with you. I think they “out-everything” the entire league.

I don’t discount spy gate though. Not necessarily because of when they did it, but because the effects are so long lasting and career altering.

Brady knowing the signals, calls, plays, and most importantly, keeping his helmet mic on, are the worlds greatest tutor when it comes to learning the game in the NFL. He got them all in live action. You can’t discount it in terms of his current ability to see the field.

Would Tom have been great with out it? Sure, probably. Would he be the GOAT and play at such a high level mentally into his 40’s, like he is now? Unsure. At best it’s worth the conversation. At worst, Brady would have had a Rogers, Romo, Rivers, Manning, type career without that “tutoring” and “mentorship” during his early stages of his career.

Come on dude, not buying it!!! Look on the internet, you can find so much more interesting conspiracy theories! Face it, they have out performed everybody, I know that hurts!

No, I don't think he's a cheater.

Well, not until he met Darth Bill and crossed over to the dark side.

When you acquire an underrated talent and pair him with one of the NFLs all time great strategists and employ a work ethic second to none and combine that with certain methods (ethical or not) the result is 20 years of unequalled excellence.

God I hate those mutherflockers!!!

...so here's a twisted hypothetical.....say all of Brady's accomplishments, awards, accolades, SB rings, indiscretions and subsequent penalties ALL occurred while in a Bflo uniform, earning OBD mantra as the "Bogus Bills"?......pissed?....defensive?....in agreement?.....don't care about outsider opinions?....hmmmm........

As much as I'd like to re-shoe my horse with his head, there comes a point when you just have to admit that he's amazing. It's just a fact. Years ago I insisted that Montana was better because he played against defences that were actually allowed to hit and bump receivers etc.

And while I still think that's true to an extent, you just can't deny his greatness. The list of achievements kind of makes me sick because I can't see anyone ever getting close to it. 9 SBs. NINE. 5 wins so far, 4 SB MVPs, 13 AFC championships including the last 8!

Those numbers are just mind boggling.

The one thing I do find interesting is that in all those years they have never dominated their way through the playoffs and then destroyed their opponent in the SB. Montana had the close games, but he also helped humiliate Denver, who I believe had the best defense in the league that year. Brady and the Pats have never done that, all their SBs have been tight. Of course that means they could have won them all, but they've also never been the absolute clear cut best that's miles above the next best team.

They'll probably put 56 up against the Rams next week now I've said that.

He needs to relax or go back to his Pat's* message board to defend them. He seems to think only Bills fans have a problem with their past.

Deflating the balls was just about having better grip. It helps in a number of ways, including not fumbling.

The results of the game really don't matter.

I've never consider Brady to be the real problem. Belichick and the front office have always been the cheaters in my mind, with Brady going along for the ride. Spygate and the radio tampering were bigger deals.

He's a huge fan of Brady

I would bet a good sum you'd be hard pressed to find a quarterback who reached the NFL that doesn't admire Brady.

If Josh Allen thought POORLY of Brady, that would be a serious problem. If you want to emulate anyone's work habits, it's that ******bag. You wanna be the best? You beat the best.

Wouldn't shock me if he (Or his wife) paid off the Falcons to choke away that SB. He's a disgusting human being who should've been banned for life.

Huh? It’s not a consipieacy theory. It was reported as part of spygate. His helmet mic never shut off inside 15”/ at the LoS. Doug Flutie mentioned that it surprised him when he accidentally grabbed Toms helmet one game.

Tom Brady has always been good at seeing the field, but his learning curve was very different from every other QB in the league. There’s a very real argument to be made that he is exponentially better at it because of his “upbringing”.

There is 100 links to this story from reputable sources, but I’ll drop one.

Real world example. You graduate from UNC with your MBA. Very good program, but it’s no Chicago, Harvard, or Wharton. You do well. You’re not top of your class but in the 5-10 range.

You get a mid level job with a few of your fellow graduates at Amazon in some mid level supply chain role. You perform well on a few early projects. Bezos takes a liking to you. In fact, makes you the President and CEO. Except while you’re taking over the company, Bezos isn’t just a mentor to bounce ideas off. He’s proof reading all your emails, providing reports and financials, telling you how to handle your PNL’s, and what companies to acquire. Amazon keeps growing. Bezos disappears over some insider trading aligations. But you maintain your position as CEO and President. You do a fine job continuing to grow the company.

Would you be the same President and CEO of you hadn’t had Bezos controlling your every business move for those years?

Thats Tom Brady. Promising, talented, driven, but with an advantage when it comes to learning on the job that created who he is today.

He is the GOAT, hands down, not close. I just question how he got there.

Deflate gate was dumb BTW. I’m more upset by the underhandedness more than I am the result of the act. If you want to try and sneak by the refs when they check. Whatever. But if don’t systematically pull a fast one.

Deflate gate was dumb, but I said at that time that the deflating of balls was probably more likely to be the distraction than the real infraction.
