YoloinOhio Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 (edited) Cap casualty. bring him in? Edited January 24, 2019 by YoloinOhio
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Never hurts but this guy is just a JAG who looks like he should be awesome.
BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 He hates Rex as much as our fans, I think 1
ndirish1978 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 It's a pretty good draft for TEs and he's coming off a core injury, I'd pass. His stats are underwhelming. 350 yds and 3-4 tds per season for 4M? 1

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Murphy will never be able to spit that out during a broadcast. However, does Safarian-Jenkins have any famous relatives?
YoloinOhio Posted January 24, 2019 Author Posted January 24, 2019 Ok maybe not ... they probably are trying to trade him at last minute

Don't think this guy is their man though... 1

Patrick Duffy Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 (edited) Wouldn't hurt to bring him in to compete. I'd still definitely ( and I'm sure the FO is too) be keeping my eyes open for better options via draft and FA. If he can come in a compete he may surprise, so we'll see I guess. Either way the Bills need TE pretty bad, so got to start somewhere I guess. Edited January 24, 2019 by Patrick_Duffy
BillyWhiteShows Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Meh....I’d be ok with the signing but wohld prefer drafting a TE
machine gun kelly Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 I can only speak to his performance post draft by the Bucs, but he was very underwhelming. A real disappointment down here as we thought the opposite target to Mike Evans as they were drafted together.
without a drought Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Let's hope this isn't how they plan to fix the TE position.
CommonCents Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 26 and his body already looks toast, no thanks.
Inigo Montoya Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 (edited) I remember back in 2010 when the Patriots drafted Gronk in the 2nd and Hernandez in the 4th. I thought they were crazy. Who the hell needs two tight ends? They ended up being dominant. Imagine if Hernandez wasn’t a dufus and was still playing in New England??? This year’s draft is deep in TE talent and we have 10 draft picks. A great tight end can be the cornerstone of an entire receiving corps in today’s NFL. Just look at Gronk, Ertz, Kelcy, and Kittle. I wouldn’t be upset to see the Bills grab two tight ends in the draft this year with a lot of upside. Edited January 25, 2019 by Inigo Montoya 2
Formerly Allan in MD Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Supposedly lots of good ones in this draft. You likely won't have to go high for a decent one.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 The 'rather draft one' posts don't make any sense to me, we will have more than one TE on the roster. 2 1
