Rex Ryan isnt a HC anymore why?  There is an old saying "those who can do, those who cant, teach".  In this case I would say "those who can work in a front office those who cant, work for a network".

He chose to do that. He’s had many opportunities to continue working in the league. But if you want to discount his opinion, feel free.

I HATE that I am on the Kareem Hunt train but I think I’m there at this point. He won’t be expensive, is productive, young, versatile and presumably hungry. Hopefully he learned his lesson. I’m hoping that they sign him (ducks for cover)

Kim Pegula has a short Western Union message for you: No!

Darnold and Rosen ahead of Mayfield and Allen.  If you could provide a link to show me his many opportunities I would appreciate it.  He discounted his credibility with his opinions over the years.  He is better than Kiper.  He also gives pretty good opinions on Defensive players but Baker Mayfield was the number 1 player in the draft last year I said it Pre-draft.  The Browns agreed and he proved.  I wish some of us on this board had access to the stuff he has access to.

Im actually surprised you put so much value in the guy .  Credentials and the job he failed at prove nothing.  Lots of people have some of the same credentials as I do but cant do the job.  So credentials dont impress me.

I think you will find Billionairs dont look at thinks the same way as common folk.  They didnt get to be Billionairs by being PC or anything like that. The Pegulas are Frackers, they really arent too concerned about public outrage.  Richie Incognito played on their team.  If he is willing to do something about his mistakes they would overlook it, as all people should.  The only thing I dont like is that he lied about it.  But when you look at what happened to Rice I dont know as I blame him for lying about it.  Sometimes people dont even think about the type of things they do until they face reprocussion.  When they truely believe something is ok they do it.  Other people have severe anger issues and dont know how to control them without counciling.  I love how people act like they have never done anything wrong in their life.  It really all stems back to the belief that the things they do are not wrong.

Whats done is done and the reality of it is that it is between him and the person he kicked and thats it.  It is really none of anyone elses business on this board or anywhere else.  A lot of stone throwers in this world, and eventually the stones are gonna come their way.

What Im saying Augie is I have no issue with him signing here and I doubt Kim does either.  People make mistakes.

The Pegulas fired Brandon because of his relationship with a woman on the job. And a top executive was recently allowed to resign after some inappropriate conduct toward a server at a bar. Especially Kim, she has set the tone that she is not going to tolerate one of her employees, upper or lower echelon, to represent her/him at one of their businesses. It just my sense that she is not going to employ someone with a history of bad behavior, especially against women. I'm not suggesting that Hunt is irredeemable. But because of the code of conduct standard that she/he has established for their businesses I don't see Hunt being signed.

Richie Incognito.  As I said it all depends on what he is doing about it.  It seems he has acknowledged what he did was wrong and he is doing some things to overcome his issues.  If you think Brandon said he felt he did something wrong and took action you would be mistaken.  Hunt is a 23 year old kid still finding his way through life.

I guess McCoy got cut last offseason huh.

Richie Incognito

Richie Incognito had mental health issues. I'm not aware that he had criminal or woman assault issues.

With the amount of underclassmen declaring I would draft two on day two or three.  The talent behind McCoy is poor.  You can find talent in rd 3 and 4.  A first rd pick for a guy with limited production behind the best line in college seems steep.

I believe there's no chance of this happening.

If these guys go full Spiller and burn our first round pick on Jacobs, or any RB, my head will explode.

How'd that work for the Giants. and would we do just as well with CJ Anderson platooning ?
Need one to move on from Shady M. and this year is a great year to invest in a rookie.
just not this high. Some one will want him though. Maybe we find a trade down  : )

I believe the bills will get a young rb this offseason.  I just don't think it will be in the first round.  The Bills have bigger needs and the draft has good value for those needs at 9.

It would be a prudent move to find Shadys replacement and have him in place.  It's hard to predict at times when rb's are done especially when the oline is terrible.

I guess that in a 2 year span they get credit from me (who was a wait and see guy) on their rookies. Tre, Milano, Wallace, Johnson, Foster, Edmunds, Zay, Dawkins, and Phillips have all contributed off the top of my head. Part of that is because the team hasn’t been great but partly because they added the right guys.

Their offensive drafting prowess hasn't struck me as solid, although that's deferring judgement on Allen.  The UDFA types are bonuses, particularly at the harder to find positions

To me, for McBeane to prove their ability to draft, it would be finding value in the mid rounds, which I consider 3rd-5th.  I think Kyle Williams is the last guy, in 2006 (!) that I consider fitting that category.  The only other player who looks like a long term starter from 2006-2016 might be Nigel Bradham.  For Buffalo to continue rebuilding it's going to take more hits in those rounds.

As to the thread, I could see them using a high pick on a RB if it's the right player.  A quick cost-benefit analysis tells me that I'd rather have a young guy from round 2 or 3 versus a vet on a contract like what Ivory received.  But, as previously mentioned, that line needs a talent influx and that should be prioritized first.  Interested to see how McBeane set themselves up in the draft.

Really? We got a TON of playing time out of those rounds from last year. Phillips was a regular in the rotation. Taron Johnson played well. Neal was in the mix I believe and 5th round Teller was starting late in the year. (Did I miss anyone?) Where will they be in 5 years? No idea, but it was a good start for a bunch of rookies. I loved the ceiling of round one, but the depth was also very encouraging.

Then there were the UDFA’s you mentioned. I’m NOT saying it’s perfect, but I’d take another year like that.

Like what?  It’s a terrible draft for tackles, especially at the top of the board.  It’s a terrible draft for WRs at the top of the board.  Good value on both in the 2nd and 3rd rds.  While rb isn’t our biggest need, it is a need and if Jacobs is the BPA when we pick, which might not be 9th, Jacobs fits the bill as a special player

This is why I’m cool with a high end defensive player, if it come to that. THAT is the strength of this draft, so it would not surprise me. But somehow every year they seem to surprise me! I hope it’s in a good way again!  ?

Both sides.  C and OG should be the priority along with a formidable pass rusher (DE or OLB, it doesn't matter to me).
