We're a team totally void of offensive players that can change the game. If one becomes available we should always be interested. 1

I would have no problem if the Bills traded down or traded up from a lower round to select a back near the bottom of the first round. I'm just not receptive to using a top ten pick on a back this year. If this was a more complete team I would be more receptive to the notion. But not this year with the way our roster is currently set.

Not even sure if he will be here one more year let alone 5, the life of the rookie’s contract I'll put money on hom being here next season. If I need a guy right awayI spend a first. Otherwise I take one later, unless there is a Barkley or McCaffrey

You buy low and you sell high. He'd immediately upgrade our offense and would come at a fraction of the price of a LeVeon Bell. We're talking about drafting a RB in the first round! You get a first/second round talent without entertaining the notion of using a top ten pick when the draft is loaded with pass rushers.

Great attitude and love for the game, excellent blocking running and pass catching, and low mileage since he wasn't a feature back at Alabama. Our best Super Bowl window is on Allen's rookie deal so I would accept drafting a young RB in the 1st to give us some kind of rush offense for the next 4 years. I still wouldn't take any RB in the top 10 but if we trade down to 15 and draft him I'd accept that. Kirby thinks I'm pigheaded on this issue. I'm not. I would have no problem taking an elite back after a trade down and getting some additional picks. However, I am steadfast against using a top ten pick in this draft for a back.

YoloinOhio Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 (edited) Quote RANK 6 Josh Jacobs, RB School: Alabama | Year: Junior Jacobs is one of my favorite players to study in this draft class. He has a thick, compact build and I love his combination of power, elusiveness and versatility. In the run game, he possesses excellent vision, burst and wiggle. His change-of-direction quickness is off the charts. He runs low to the ground and powers through tacklers in every game I studied. Jacobs has the speed to get to the perimeter -- he's a weapon when lined up as a QB in the Wildcat and when he's used on fly sweeps from the slot. In the passing game, Jacobs runs crisp routes, possesses natural hands and he's a make-you-miss specialist in space. He does need to improve in pass protection. He must come to balance as a blocker and avoid lunging at blitzers. Overall, Jacobs is a special talent and his light workload at Alabama (251 carries in three seasons) should be viewed as a positive, not a negative. 4 minutes ago, formerlyofCtown said: Those draft experts are a joke. At least that's what I would do. Get a proven vet C, RG, and RT. Then they can trully go BPA or go after a game changing offensive weapon.

Need to draft the top talent in our situation. 1

In this case I would say "those who can work in a front office those who cant, work for a network". Edited January 24, 2019 by formerlyofCtown
