Not for nothing but the NE tackle is no where near the LOS either, hes 2 yards behind the ball and he could have just as easily been flagged, but NE oline apparantly play perfect football on every play.

The rule is the other linemens front tip of the helmet has to be to the midpoint of the centers body.  It's really tough to tell if that was a legal formation based off that angle.  Either way the play would've been a do over anyways if called.

Matt Ryan, another MVP, also almost took down the GOAT on a bigger stage

Remember him? He vanished.

Oh he still puts up stats! What a player!

October champs!

As opposed to being effectively eliminated from the playoffs in October?

Yeah, I don't get Bills fans bagging on Reid and the Chiefs. Not given the 20+ years of ineptitude that has characterized our beloved bumbling franchise.

Mostly it's just all the hype means zero

NE wins. Always

I’m not saying people don’t believe momentum in sports exists. Clearly they do. I’m saying it’s not a real phenomenon.

Well it sounds like it would be a great separate thread topic.

Matt Ryan's peak doesn't touch Patrick Mahomes' first ever NFL season. You're just pouting.

What will happen when KC has to let guys go to get under cap like Seattle did?

9-7 or 10-6 and lots of fun stats

I guess we better hope Josh Allen doesn't become too good, eh?

Every team with a QB to threaten teams with elite QBs will face similar problems. I wish we could be a part of that delicate balance that's coming. I hope we can be, but Josh still has a lot of growth to do.

We're nearing a fun time for the NFL. Get more guys like Romo in, calling exciting new QBs from exciting new teams after twenty years of the same thing.

And the Chiefs will always be front and center. I hope we can join the fray.

"yeah but"

They wouldn't be able to beat Brady

Tom has 5 SBs in 19 years. Could turn into 6. Lots of teams have beaten Brady, even though he's the GOAT. Nobody is going to take this "everything is hopeless and useless" nihilistic approach except you

Good point. The LT looks much further away from that position that Dee Ford looks Offside. But hard to tell for sure without a straight down the LOS angle on either.

Oh I knew 100% how that would go

How do I care less about this?

It's honestly silly to be this upset over a game. What are the steps?

You are a fan of the greatest game on earth

nothing compares to the level it gets when the playoffs roll around

don’t let it get you down longer than an hour after it is over....

What really sucks is that Mannings neck gave out

If he was still playing at a high level maybe the AFC wouldn't be such a joke

That's the thing...

If someone else could win for a change that would be fine.

But it's always the same team, making everything that happens all year seem meaningless

Appreciate the excellence, you don’t have to cheer for them....

This is easily the hardest sport to make a run of six years in, let alone 18 or whatever

That's what is so frustrating

Nobody else can step up.

Then again... Eagles win last year so who knows

The next 2 weeks are going to be torturously long

If you don’t see it, you don’t call it. Period. That should be Ref 101.

Can't disagree with this.

But again, why do those calls almost always go their way?

I wish I knew the answer to this.  Pretty uncanny how they do seem to get a lot of calls go their way.

They showed a pic from a weird angle that was behind the LOS and it showed his hand was on the blue line. The blue line is not official, it’s a media creation, so pardon me for not taking it at face value, especially since they didn’t show an angle that was directly down the LOS like they usually do.

And im not even saying he wasn’t offside, just impossible to know from the angle of the “replay”

The media created blue line goes directly through the football in the Center's hand.  And the linesman is staring right down the line of scrimmage watching Dee's whole body standing beyond the LOS.

This one was the easiest call of the night for the refs.

After watching the NFL championship games this week with all the former Bills players involved I can say one thing for certain, Doug Whaley DIDN'T SUCK!!

lol really?

THAT is what you took away from it?

Watkins: hurt.

Woods: best of the bunch

Ragland: ABUSED

That's a lousy take, and a pretty transparent attempt at trolling.

The play of the Rams defense front in particular Donald & Suh will decide the outcome of SB 53.

Wade hates the Pats, Tom will be hit early and often.

Good luck Rams!
