So are a lot of posts with political stuff related to thread but I get flagged and post deleted while other ones do not.  When I report sometimes I get flagged as well by Trumpite so just posting in thread reminder.  Start most controversy opinion in politics on PPP if you want to continue discussion.

Here’s perhaps a controversial opinion.  Unless someone is harming you, mind your own friggin business.  We have mods here to sort these types of things out.

Here’s perhaps a controversial opinion - I don't care what you say and more likely to do opposite based on it.

The shear amount of people that either agree with him or not.

More people (I know that's not what wins) disagree with him.  Yet, upside down elections are fine if you attempt to  not make irrelevant the majority of people.

He won, that's okay.  But he has to acknowledge the fact that it's upside down.  More people disagree with him.  He needs to accept that and try to establish a mandate with the people.

He's the Bills going into the 4th, 2020 with a 3 point lead against the Pats** and he's throwing bombs against the wind with a Tyrod Taylor arm.  No way it holds.

Trump still lost the popular vote.  Even know he won, that still means he has to work at it.

As mentioned above. I dont want to take this down the PPP road, but there's a reaso we have the electoral college. To each their own.

Was actually offered mod position and turned it down quite some time ago.  And I do not do reports anymore unless it some uncontroversial like merging threads, copyright violations, etc.

Agree.  But one last thing: The reason is because the founders didn't trust the people (even if they were elite landowning white males).  It worked the exact opposite in 2016.  The EC didn't have nuts to pull trigger on the "safety valve."

You gotta take it with grain of salt.  Look @ context of the thread.  Don't keep score on what of your's is getting wacked vs. what others have let slide.  Not a pi ssing contest.  Okay, maybe it is a peeing contest between K.Smallies & Me!  ?

I think the Sabres should fire Phil Housley.  Not getting the most out of the young talent.

Paul Fenton (current GM for Minnesota Wild) interviewed for the Sabres GM job. He was told that they were really high on Phil Housley for the coaching vacancy and was asked how he felt about that. Paul said Phil was not ready for the job. Can't really argue that to this point.

Wow... Never heard that.  /smh

And Coach Q sits out there... Not following that.  But, Sabres seem like a Young 'Hawks situation.  Legacy coach, underachieving, etc...

Holidays are trash and birthday celebrations are asinine. You want a cookie because the earth revolved around the sun? Ridiculous.

You really need St. Patrick's Day and NYE as an excuse to get drunk? I'll get drunk on Tuesday if I feel like it.

No reason you would have heard this. Fenton and one of golf buddies are good friends from the days when their kids played hockey for UMass. They became good friends, still vacation together in the off season, gets my buddy tickets when they're playing in town, all that stuff.

We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. "We" are in fact the One with no second: A single and continuous field of energy, condensed into a collection of slow vibrations. Duality is an illusion. Space, time, and causation are illusions. We were never born and will never die. Suffering is caused by desire. Detachment from desire and recognition of our true nature leads to Satcitananda: Existence-knowledge-bliss eternal.

I don't find that very controversial at all, but I presume many would.
