The opening for “Maude” is better than the opening for “Cheers” and perhaps the best opening sequence and song of any tv show ever.

It’s freakin fantastic that people used to talk/write like that. It probably took George Washington a hot second to write that and it’s just delightful to read.

Now people write meanigful ***** in text shorthand.

What the ***** happened to civilization?

Our society asked for the refuse of other societies. That's what.

Nobody actually likes the movie Lost in Translation but most are scared to admit it for fear of looking dumb so they join the herd and criticize the brave with "well, you probably didn't understand it!".

I take such great offense to this!! Ha ha, it is in my top 10 all-time (along with Rocky, both Godfathers, Royal Tenenbaums, City of God, Usual Suspects, Dumb & Dumber, Donnie Brasco & Return of the King). I think you just aren’t lonely enough to understand.

In terms of controversial opinions, Zach Morris was a manipulative a-hole and a terrible friend. He tried to have sex with all of the girls (including his 2 best friend’s Girls) and always sent someone else to do his dirty work.

Wine tastes better from flat glass than from stemmed.

Beer already comes in a glass and should not be served in a different one (Craft beers are of course an exception.)

Do you believe in choice for all those who can think and/or feel pain?  Or just for those outside the womb?

The people who have the ability to choose.  But you knew that.

"You can choose a ready guide
In some celestial voice
If you choose not to decide
You still have made a choice

You can choose from phantom fears
And kindness that can kill
I will choose a path that's clear
I will choose free will"

Because it's hip and in?

?

i'd guess it's mostly because my wife is less likely to knock them over when she gets suburban mom drunk.

huh?     I drank it straight from the bottle

i have also enjoyed the drinking of wine from the bottle.  i've also cut the bag out of a box of wine, and carried it around like a hiker would a hydration pack.

I think you should fill your tub with a nice, dark red and take a bath in it.  When your wife comes home, say "I think our neighbors moved because they're gone.  Oh and honey, someone stole all our butcher knife so we need a new one".
