I did this in college.  My problem was my reaction speed went up when I drank and my coordination as well as long as I did not drink too much.

The reason for this was determined by a doctor 15 years later. He did some testing and said my nerve impulses were running faster than my body could process it.  It also explains why I stop stuttering when I drink.

 

Oh and Andre Reed ought to volunteer to help his home town police.

I loved that show although I did not get to see a lot of episodes until post college (started early in 1979) since only TV I had access to was in dorm lounge,

 

Not exactly same circumstances but similar.

Doctor told me my liver was "over active", probably because my 16 year old mother gave me adult tranquilizers as a baby because I was colicy.
