******* Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Bills LB Lorenzo Alexander’s one-year extension has a base value of $3M, per source. $550K to sign, a $2.45M salary plus more money available via bonuses/incentives. 8 4
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 You started the other Lorax thread and now you have one with "greater details"?? LAMP much? Lorenzo is back 1

BuffaloHokie13 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 I had estimated $3.5M, but with more cash up front and a lower salary. I wonder how much the incentives are?
ghostwriter Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Thanks for the details. That seems like a very team friendly deal. Glad to have him back. 1

FeelingOnYouboty Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 What a deal. Bring in Thomas Davis now!
GunnerBill Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Solid move. I genuinely think he didn't want to go anywhere else. If the bills moved on from him I think he'd have called it a day. 1

If the bills moved on from him I think he'd have called it a day. Yeah, he definitely didn't want to go anywhere. He said in his presser that he planned on this being his last year. I'm sure he didn't want to pull up stakes just for one more year, especially with a wife and school-aged children to consider. Glad he's back and at a good dollar figure for the team.
NewEra Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Good deal for both sides. Couldn’t Ben happier to have him back,
Freddie's Dead Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 $3M plus incentives is as cheap as ***** for the Bills. In real dollars, he's worth twice that. 1
Charlottebillsfan2 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 I live seeing hometown discounts. Great deal happy he is back for a playoff run!!!
Scott7975 Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Good deal for the Bills. One of the few on the team that probably plays above their contract value. 2
