By my eye he seemed like a reasonable depth player. Pretty sure roughly half the OL had their contracts up, so not too much of a surprise someone was signed to stick around for camp at least.

Super Bowl baby!!!!!!

Sirles didn’t play so when he was given a chance to play.  If he makes the team, he’ll

need to improve from last season.  His versatility only comes into play with competent performances.

I like these little moves Beane is making. Obviously this is just depth, but it's one less thing he needs to go after in FA or the later rounds of the draft. He's getting his ducks in a row. If he re-signed Philips I'll be really pleased and all set for the start of FA

The few times I saw him in there he was bad. Oh well depth it is.

At times in 2018, the Bills carried as many as 10 offensive linemen on their 53 man roster. That's too many.

Sirles provides depth at T, G, C, and can contribute as a 6th lineman in jumbo formations. I'm sure it was a cheap deal, is only for 1 year, and won't preclude them from upgrading the offensive line in free agency and the draft.
