Chicharito Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 He had to have some input in Indy! At least we are getting a guy from the best online in the nfl this year opposed to hiring Juan Castillo’s assistant.
BuffAlone Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Bob Johnson? Sounds more like a porn star than an NFL coach? 1

MJS Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) I seriously do not care one bit who we have as position coaches. There is no way fans know if these guys are good or bad. Edited January 15, 2019 by MJS 18 3 2
BillsFan4 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Not going to pretend I know anything about this guys ability to coach an o-line. I doubt a single person here has a clue. 4

That’s probably the only thing worth while, I agree no one really knows. Him being around a good Oline last year is a decent start, he knows how it’s supposed to look. I wonder what he will think when watching tape on his new guys.

Ittakestime Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 My biggest issue with this hire, is the TE coach for so long. If all that experience was with the O line, I would be fine. I really think these hires tell us how other NFL personnel feel about McBeane's job security outside of Buffalo. FA could get ugly. 3

Warcodered Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 I mean having no qualifications to judge this doesn't seem like a terrible hire. I mean ideally you want someone that you know for certain will be good but anyone like that either still has their job or is trying to get promoted.
without a drought Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 No one knows, not even the staff that just hired him.
SoCal Deek Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 I can't believe people have an opinion on the O Line coach. I'm going to trust the process here. 1
blacklabel Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 The guy helped the Colts OL hold to only 18 sacks this past season, fewest in the league. I'm fine with that. 5
