The Real Buffalo Joe Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) Outside of the obvious ones in our division, what other teams would you consider to be rivals? For me personally: Jacksonville. Marrone, Dareus, Ramsey talking crap about Allen and of course knocking us out of the playoffs. I'm sure the fistfight that happened this year will only strengthen that. Tennessee. Music City Travesty. The whole Bud Adams middle finger deal. Some might say the comeback, but I pin things like that on Houston, even though they're technically a different team. Not sure I'd consider Dallas a rivalry anymore. Yeah, they beat us in two Super Bowls. But it's not like they "stole it" from us. But neither team has done anything special in years. With all the former players/coaches/FO staff, I can see a friendly rivalry budding with Carolina. There's also a friendly one with Cleveland. The whole small, cold city, loyal, blue collar fanbase, but mostly lousy teams the past few years. Edited January 15, 2019 by The Real Buffalo Joe
Gugny Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 I don't think the Bills have any rivals, really. Especially outside of the division. 1

Seasons1992 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) You should be listing NFC teams..................they are "out of conference." Edited January 15, 2019 by Seasons1992 1
That_Guy Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 i mean, they're no Dolphins/Jets/Pats but whenever we play the Redskins i want us to crush them just as badly. so it's a rivalry in my head if nothing else. 1
Cygnus99 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 I hate the Cowboys even before the Super Bowl when I was a little kid . Never like them
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Any team that beat the Bills during the playoffs or tromped them more than once recently. Chargers and Ravens and Jagoffs 1
LSHMEAB Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 The Bills are going to have to start winning games in order to have a true rival. 1 1
without a drought Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Jax is the closest thing they have to a rivalry in the NFL, not saying it's much of one, but it's all they have. 1
Nester Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Still hate those cowboys even after all these years 1
SoCal Deek Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 The Bills have no real rivals outside of the Division but neither do any of the teams in the league with the exception of a few typical playoff contenders that seem to go head to head on a more regular basis. When you finish 8-8 for 20 straight years...no one cares. 1
Bill Murray Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 i think the Jags are quickly climbing up that list. a gritty playoff game followed by an all out brawl. as good a choice as any for us. im hoping for us to develop a nice browns rivalry for years to come with baker and allen going toe to toe. that would be fun.
416BillsFan Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Agree with the consensus. I think the Jags are our #1 rival currently, no division qualifiers. I'm hoping Cleveland is our main rival over the next few years, would love Allen & Mayfield to dominate the AFC after years of suffering from the fanbases. 4

The Real Buffalo Joe Posted January 15, 2019 Author Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) Living in Houston, I've met a lot of Oilers fans still salty about the Comeback. Even if we ignore that they're technically two separate franchises, that's more of a one way thing, as I don't think the Bills or our fans have any reason to have animosity towards Houston. The Real Buffalo Joe Posted January 15, 2019 Author Posted January 15, 2019 The Patriots* rivalry never took off, because it seems like we've been on a see-saw since the AFL days. When we're good, they suck, and vice-versa.
