Royale with Cheese Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) I've had two friends in the past that let their adult children sleep with them. One was 185 lbs and the other had a 225 lbs. My son is 3 and I let him sleep in my bed now but probably will make him stop when he starts elementary school. SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Oh Hell NO!! I did't, but my wife would when she took a nap.
teef Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 we have a 90 lb lab. no way. it's not even so much the size, but rather the hair. he doesn't even come upstairs anymore because we don't want to deal with the hair all throughout the house. we also have a cat, but he's such a d-bag at night. he plays with your feet, licks your head, meows, etc.
GoBills808 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 ***** no. They sleep outside in the dirt. I'm already paying their room and board. These dogs don't know how good they have it.

LOL Let his sleep next to the bed you can listen to him lick his balls all night long

This dog was also small. The only time I have slept with a dog this size was my friends chocolate lab that is 90 lbs. In our partying days, I would crash at his place on the couch and the dog would jump up there. and snuggle. This dog loved me.

row_33 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 like I'd tell la gata where she couldn't sleep
Gugny Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 My dog slept with me for her first 2 years straight, every night. Then it slowed. Now she never does. She doesn't trust herself to make it (she's 10). With a running start, she can; but she stays downstairs most nights. If she comes up, she sleeps under my bed. Of my three cats, one sleeps with me almost every night. She stays at the bottom corner, opposite of where my feet are, so she's not in the way at all. Another cat sleeps in a cat bed on the floor in my room. The third cat sleeps with my son every night.
BarkLessWagMore Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Yep our golden sleeps with us. Nice and warm in the winter.
Bad Things Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Our little dog sleeps with our son each night. If he's away, the dog sleeps in our room, at the foot of our bed. I love my dog more than anything, and there is NO WAY I would let it sleep IN the bed. (as in under the covers.)
DCOrange Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 We let our dog (10 lb morkie) lay in bed while I'm getting ready for bed, but once it's time to sleep, he goes down on the floor in his own bed. In the morning, he's allowed to jump up in bed once I get up (girlfriend usually stays in bed another two hours after me), but that's it.

LewPort71 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 One dog ( a puggle) and 2 cats. Thank goodness we don't have restless legs or a critter would end up on the floor.
LeviF Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Nah, she's tied up in the basement. She complains a lot ("please let me go, I won't tell anyone, blah blah blah") but my girlfriend really doesn't want her in the bed.
billsfanmiami(oh) Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Our cat has slept in bed every night with us since the day we got her. Often times on top of my legs until I move her. For a little 10 lb cat, she’s quite the bed hog.

row_33 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 the last one on the bed sleeps on top of the pile
