It is actually the first coach they’ve ever hired from the Panthers

I'd rather hire a coach from Panthers than East Carolina. I think the Pegulas need bulk discount on retirement payments for coaches.

Might want to check your notes, slappy. 1st coach McBeane has ever  hired from Carolina. Not a good look for you, indeed. How are you not aware of the optics surrounding your inaccurate posts?

Simple. He does not allow facts to stop his irrational ranting.

...so that should eliminate any "should we bring Flacco in" threads, right??..........

I don't think they care about "optics", I think they care about culture, winning, and finding guys they can trust.

And 75% is a huge farce.

Well maybe he is a huge farce hence "feels" 75% or went to Florida schools and is really bad at math.

Flacco is a Delaware grad

But he began his career at Pitt so there is a tangential Panthers connection.

Im pretty excited about this hiring honestly.  Too many times 65+ old dudes with one foot in the grave and one on the banana peel tend to be coaches.

Looking forward to his high energy

Let's see, off the top of my head:

McDermott

Beane

Star Lotulelei

Kelvin Benjamin

Kaelin Clay

Dean Marlowe

Lol did you really just include McDermott and Beane on this list? This is next level stuff.

Has anyone said "so long Farwell auf wiedersehen goodbye?"

^^ nerd (but I did giggle like a school girl)!

Hopefully some posters will actually read the Charlotte Observer profile. Give us great insight on how this guy is wired, and what players can expect. Sounds good to me.

The Carolina griping is just lazy (and/or funny, depending on who the Bills bring in).

Panthers weren’t great but they were a much better ST unit than we were being 18th in ST DVOA compared us being dead last ?

18th? That strikes fear in the competition

A good hire, let's move on, I find threads about newly hired Assistant Coaches rather pedantic.

What we really need is another thread about Josh Allen's accuracy. Who will start it?

Wait, first I don't think we're quite finished with the "fire everyone for not picking Mahomes" threads yet?

Especially the FO should be fired, because they were all with different teams when Mahomes was drafted and none of them drafted him either. The only member of our FO who drafted him was Marvin Allen and he already left. Fail.
