BubbaT Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Is anybody else surprised that it is taking this long to hire these 2 positions? With all the staffs being put together I would have thought the Bills would be diving in to obtain coaches before many were scooped up. I wonder 1) If the Bills jobs are not viewed as attractive at all or 2) if they are waiting for people still in the playoffs 1
teef Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 i'm pretty much always looking for a reason to take xanax, so this will suffice. 3 14 1 1
gobills1212 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Everyone is always worried about whos getting fired sssooooooo...... thats the exciting part. Geesh
RiotAct Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 with Special Teams at least, it can’t get any worse than it was this past season. So anyone they grab will be an upgrade. 2
Augie Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 I try not to worry about things over which I have no control. I hope they have a plan that will work. Regardless, nobody in my family gets fired as a result. The Bills will still.......be the Bills. And I’ll still be there..... 1 1
PIZ Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Corey Matthaei - Assistant OL coach - KC. Thats the only current one I see as a fit that would be a promotion. 1

I love the Bills but they don't sustain my life. I will go on without knowing what they are doing at OL and ST coaches. Edited January 14, 2019 by fansince88 1

BillsFan4 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 I don’t care how long it takes as long as they get it right. 2
Kmart128 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 I'm assuming all 3 opening we have are gonna be announced at the same time.
Ittakestime Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 It's concerning that all you hear about is interest from the Bills after the guy was hired. Doesn't even sound like we are getting interviews since those seem to be widely publiced now.
jwhit34 Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 There are 32 jobs each as NFL OLine, Special Teams and Wide Receivers coaches. The thought that Buffalo isn't desirable is misplaced paranoia. Look how the fired head coaches, whose multi-million $ contracts are guaranteed, are jumping at the chance to be coordinators. The position coaches are football lifers and would jump at the chance to land one of the 32 most prestigious jobs in their profession almost regardless of the team. Whether they make a good choice, that's different but it's highly unlikely that someone says no because it's Buffalo. 2 1

Green Lightning Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 I was thinking they were targeting some people on the playoff teams. Wanted to wait until afterwards. 1
