No...he isn’t.

I stand corrected. Zay played a lot more, and had like a dozen more catches and 100 more yards.

You're right. Lol. Sammy would totally hurt this team.

Sammy is all about unrealized potential.

Some of us said as much when he was playing in Buffalo.

Watkins doesn't dominate when he is healthy. Sammy never has been and never will be an elite WR, even when 100% healthy. He disappears in games all the time.

What specifically do Watkins fans see in him talent wise that would suggest that he could be elite? Contested catches? Plenty of 2nd and 3rd WR's around the league can do that. Speed? Plenty of practice squad WR's have speed. Good hands? If you don't have good hands, you're out of the league. So what is it? Just his college production and utilization? You can fill a league with the number of great college players who did squat in the NFL.

The difference between elite and non-elite is consistency and production. Watkins has neither.

Yes. Sammy with his bloated salary and limited production would not have been good for this team. Agreed.

When will he’s realize it?  In year 6?  Maybe in year 7?
