Elway is wrong to try and force Kubiak on Fangio in the first place. You hire a coach for their vision and trust them to build a staff to accomplish that vision. You'd think that a GM would have vetted these types of issues prior to making a hiring. 1 2 1

It took a lot for the fans to turn on Elway, but ... here in Colorado it's finally happening. Elway is largely responsible for two great things: drafting (and then re-signing for big bucks) Vonn Miller, and signing Peyton Manning. But the good feelings and results that came from that do wear out after a period of time. He really flubbed this one.
