EmotionallyUnstable Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Rock ya sin? Is that a serious person? 1
JM57 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 1) I want nothing to do with DK Metcalf, especially at #9. Raw, injury, Ole Miss WR...too many negatives to outweigh his abilities 2) Based on what we know right now, that is, without him getting hurt or absolutely bombing workouts, I'll eat a shoe if Chase Winovich makes it to round 3 let alone 5. 2

Although part of me wants a defensive player at 9. J. Allen, maybe? 3
billsbackto81 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I like Metcalf but not at 9. There is no WR in this draft that justifies a Top 10 selection. 3
JM57 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Just did this one on FanSpeak. Would have liked to address RB earlier but it just didn't shake out properly for that. Only doubled up on WR with Anthony Johnson because he was BPA by almost 20 spots on the big board. 9: R1P9 DL ED OLIVER HOUSTON 41: R2P9 WR N'KEAL HARRY ARIZONA STATE 71: R3P7 G CONNOR MCGOVERN PENN STATE 113: R4P11 WR ANTHONY JOHNSON BUFFALO 133: R4P31 C ROSS PIERSCHBACHER ALABAMA 149: R5P10 EDGE SUTTON SMITH NORTHERN ILLINOIS 159: R5P20 LB RYAN CONLEY WISCONSIN 184: R6P9 CB COEY BALLENTINE WASHBURN 224: R7P8 RB BRUCE ANDERSON NDSU 230: R7P14 OT DERWIN GRAY MARYLAND 4 2 1
Tenhigh Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Is "Wishnowsky" a real thing? It seems like some name a kid made up. "I Wishnowsky that my punt goes 75 yards and rolls to a stop at the 1. HIKE!" 3
GunnerBill Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Would be nice JM57 but I doubt we can get all of those first 5 picks. 1

CSBill Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I like any scenario that has us taking 3 o-linemen. By the way, MCGOVERN would be a really nice pickup. And he can play G or center. 2
CEN-CAL17 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 (edited) Lyndstrom is going early round 2 TJ Hockenson if he declares may go late round 1, but won’t last past pick 50. Winovich will go no later than mid round 3. Right now at 9. I believe it will be Devin White Rashan Gary Ed Oliver Jeffrey Simmons Wasnt impressed by Jonah Williams against Clemson. He didn’t help his stock especially when there were talks that he had not faced a great pass rusher all year. Then he did. Edited January 11, 2019 by 1ZAYDAY1 3
colin Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I don't see our front office going through an entire draft without some trades. they love trades!

Max Fischer Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Serious question - how many times has someone successfully predicted picked more than two picks (for any team)? It seems after the 5th pick a countless number of scenarios unfold that renders selections impossible to predict. Personally, I'm more interested in Mock Draft Boards, which are more realistic and useful.
tbarg12 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I like the selections, although with this FO I wouldn't doubt they draft defense first with the amount of defensive talent projected at the top of the draft. 2
dlonce Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Obviously everything depends upon free agency. if everything remains status quo there is no way we draft a WR or OT at 9. There are too many very good defensive players on the board. Beane will go best player available unless we trade down somehow.
