RIP Super Dave!

Dude was hilarious; he had that deadpan comedic thing down to a science.

He's probably the best I've ever seen with that style.

Watching those on broadcast TV, half the fun was the VW bug horn that would censor out the cursing.  Super Dave in pain, yelling “Holy crap”, but us watching WUTV hearing “Holy BEEP BEEP”.  The CN Tower cancelled jump was a good one.  Only Wile E. Coyote took more physical abuse than Super Dave.

Sadly, I just created another RIP thread.  The Captain from Captain and Tennille.  Also 76.

Super Dave was PHENOMENAL on Letterman.  One of my favorite frequent guests.

Me too. Letterman is the reason I knew who Super Dave was, and he was always a blast - sometimes, quite literally!

He made me laugh every moment he was on the screen. Movies, TV, interviews, anything. The king of the long gag. The joke was even more funny when you knew where it was going.
