YoloinOhio Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 link to podcast ... I have not listened yet 1
CNY315 Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 I'm kinda half listening half working. The criticisms were things we've all heard but some of the things that caught my attention were: 19.7% of his targets were 20+ yards down the field. By comparison, Matt Ryan was at 12.2%, Brady 11.4%, Watson 11.1%, Luck 11%. Next closest was Trubisky at 16.8% & Wilson at 15.9%. 6.3% of his passes were dropped which was the 2nd highest in the league 24.6 passer rating when targeting Benjamin, 127.2 when targeting Foster 4 1
LABILLBACKER Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 I find that 6.3% figure to be way too low. It felt like 15%....
BillyWhiteShows Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 Nice to see “Mr Grand Island” Joe Marino has a podcast

HomeskillitMoorman Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 Love that Josh was looking downfield as much as he was. I'm not comparing the 2 guys before any one jumps down my throat...but that mindset reminded me of when Luck first came into the league with Arians and was constantly looking downfield, it was really fun to watch and makes a lot of sense given the way the game is called now.
