Supposedly the Bengals are interviewing Hue Jackson for the HC gig, and Ian Rappoport tweets it "makes sense" because "Lewis endorsed Jackson" for the job.

So wait.  You fire your long time HC because he's not good enough for the job, but you'll take his recommendation on who to hire?

Very strange.

Palmer’s two best seasons were before the injury and after the injury.

I’m not sure that injury can be blamed for his mediocre years in Cincy, which pretty much mirror his whole career. A few real good seasons and a bunch of meh seasons.

the hit certainly deflated their momentum

the Bengals even made a rap video before the playoffs that year....  :D

i'll tell you what strange is... even considering a guy to be your head coach who has an overall head coaching record of 11-44-1. with the last three years of that record being 3-36-1.

I’m not talking about one year, or even two or three.

I am talking about his career.

still not sure it wasn't intentional, it was part of the flow, but it was the Steelers and that was all she wrote.

Wow! After 16 years. Just think, Tremaine Edmunds was 4yo when Marvin was hired.

And the Bills have won as many playoff games with Edmunds as the Bengals did with Lewis.

Not a whole lot of experience. But he worked with Sean McVay for 2 years, so.... lol.

Itll definitely be interesting to see how he does, if he’s hired.

Strange indeed. Like a woman taking your recommendation on whom to date after she dumps you.
