BuffaloBill Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 It’s not a surprising move. He’s been on the bubble for years.
YoloinOhio Posted December 31, 2018 Author Posted December 31, 2018 I didn’t think Mike Brown would ever do this
Tatonka68 Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Cincinnati fire sale. Bills should push for AJ Green trade. 3
YoloinOhio Posted December 31, 2018 Author Posted December 31, 2018 This is probably the worst HC opening in the league. They need a major rebuild, aging stars, cheap owner, no indoor practice facility 2
Just Joshin' Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 If they hire Hue, fans should revolt. 2

Will be very interesting to see who they get.

Alphadawg7 Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 (edited) He’s the current version of Jeff Fisher. Bad coach who kept sticking around from a reputation of something that happened a decade and a half earlier. Cant believe guys like him and Fisher held jobs as long as they did. I can’t see him getting another HC gig anytime soon, if ever, without first going back to a DC and having significant success as that. Edited December 31, 2018 by Alphadawg7 4
Gugny Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 I thought the word on the street that ownership was allowing Marvin Lewis to leave the team on his own terms (retire/take a different role). I guess he didn't do it fast enough. 1
HappyDays Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 His tenure with the Bengals has a driver's license. I'm surprised they finally pulled the trigger. I wonder if Andy Dalton is done there too.

The only potential silver lining to taking this job is that any new HC would likely get a solid 3 years before being on hot seat knowing it needs to be completely torn down and the owner isn’t quick to fire coaches. Then again, Wilks in AZ should have too, but got axed after one season despite having a rookie QB and terrible OL.
MrEpsYtown Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 My true dream is that they hire Rex Ryan, and they are forced to trade Geno Atkins to us, becuase he doesn't fit the defense. 2
CommonCents Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 What’s the record for coaching changes and are we getting close!?
