What exactly happened this season?   From how they played last year to finishing 8-7-1, I’m honestly asking.

I figured they’d be at least a 1 or 2 seed.

I feel like we played on fire against them, but maybe last year was the fluke?

Cousins is the most overrated QB in football.

edit: and the Cook injury didn’t help.

Look no further than Kirk Cousins.  I'm thrilled the Bills didn't get fooled by the hype.  Nobody throws a prettier, meaningless, five yard dump off than Cousins (especially with Alex Smith out).

Cook missed the entire previous season too, didn’t he?

The Viks D was a shell of what it was last year. D is the biggest difference from last year to this hands down, giving up almost 100 more pts this year.

Missed a bunch of it yeah. Last year they were able to compensate better. Mostly Cousins is the reason.

Football is such a weird game. Teams can for for good to bad in the blink of an eye (Eagles are another example).

It seems the only team with any consistency are the Pats, unfortunately.

Edit: spoke too soon. Eagles are in the playoffs.

completely agree. 8-8 is what the guy is. no surprise at all. Gets yardage but just not a winner.

What happened?

Parity happened...Having to play a 1st Place Schedule happened.

Vikings had loses to:

@Rams, @Patriots, @Seahawks, @Bears, Bears, Saints

How are many teams fairing agaisnt those teams?

They had 1 victory over a playoff team...Eagles.

They has 1 loss over a non-playoff team...Bills.

I remember when that only used to happen in the CFL East.
