Probably not.  On a neutral field Oklahoma would smoke Notre Dame

I would have preferred a Georgia-Alabama rematch. And OSU, even with some terrible defensive performances, is better than ND.

I would have rather seen UCF in the playoffs than Notre Dame

 

UCF probably would have been stomped just the same as Notre Dame.  But UCF entered the debate by winning football games.  Notre Dame entered the debate by brand recognition
