The Senator Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Toomy Boy sez he wants to play until he’s 45! Dude’s contract expires after next season - it’ll be interesting to see just how much Kraft loves him. https://www.upi.com/Sports_News/NFL/2018/12/26/New-England-Patriots-QB-Tom-Brady-reiterates-plan-to-play-beyond-2019/5591545845614/ .
DBilz2500 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 He’s clearly trending down and showing signs of age and decline. You don’t magicaly get better at age 42, 43, etc....
Warcodered Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Yeah I'd love to see how he's playing at 45.
mead107 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 He better start playing better. 1 bad knee. How many more hits on it can he take.

Bring it Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Brady is obsessed with being snubbed in the draft and making it clear that he is the best ever! He will not go down easy. More like having to be beaten into retirement!!
Andy1 Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Do Pats fans really want a creaky 44 yr old qb playing for them? I don’t think I’d feel great about that if I were them.

They are like spoiled little children that cry when they dont get what they want 4

I can see a scenario where Brady declines, wants to continue, and the organization actually pushes him out. Not necessarily next year however.
QB Bills Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Unlike many here I don't want him to retire until the Bills are beating the Patriots on the regular. I know the "you'll be waiting forever" is going to be the natural response. But what's the difference of him being 200-3 against us vs 300-3?
Beast Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 If he has to play until he’s 50 where we lay a walloping on him, so be it. I just want want to see him bleed a little and end up on the wrong end of a very humiliating loss to us before he goes. 4

He's a egomaniac who has gotten used to people polishing his nutz He';; stick around too long and look foolish just like a lot of qbs who didn't know when to say when. 1

Not to much confidence in what they’re going to do in the playoffs this year either.
Matt_In_NH Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 considering he plays for as much as a mid tier guy or less, it wont be hard for Kraft to pay him.

I have no doubt that they’ll keep him around next year if he wants to play, but I don’t think they will re-sign him after 2019-20. They know that they are facing a re-build.
Matt_In_NH Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 His season stats this year would be among the best ever by a Bills QB 1 1
