You do realize there is a set formula for draft order and the commissioner has no say in it, right?

Seems short sighted.

Goodell routinely intervenes. Case in point Colts deal with Jets. Buffalo has to build a new stadium to prevent his meddling.
Buddy Hix Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Well, would you rather draft 4th or 12th? It’s essentially the same question. I’d rather drat top 5 than celebrate a meaningless win. 1

Enough of the conspiracy theories.

Most here won't be upset at a loss or getting a better pick, but they are also not going to cheer on the other team or celebrate Bills failures. 1

I mean none at all. They are WAY worse than that and our ability to trade down would be severely impacted. I must admit, 4 sounds great. 2
MJS Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Win as many as you can each season. Everything else will fall into place accordingly. Losing makes it harder to sign free agents and has a negative impact on the current players, coaches, and fans. There are tons of good guys to draft. Every year there are breakout players from all over the first round and beyond, and busts from the top 10 picks. Tre White was a late 1st round pick and he is now one of our best players. Winning makes everything better.

BillsfanAZ Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Go for the win. Hope Allen has a huge game so the Bills dont look inept to free agents this off season. Would like to see Allen go into the offseason throwing multiple TD's.
row_33 Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Will be fun to see which team is truckin’ faster in the Week 17 run for the bus mode.

It'll be Miami because of Gase's shaky position there and because of Kyle Williams. The Bills will be playing harder; of that you can be almost certain. Edited December 28, 2018 by dave mcbride 1
