I think we can also safely say this front 7 needs a game changer and the notion that the defense is "set" has to be put to bed. We clearly missed Milano, but there were far too many guys either mailing it in or simply not physically up to the challenge.

We saw why Miami let Jordan Phillips go- he took the game off today.

For me, "accuracy" is not the issue with Josh as much as recognition. It's very obvious we have a meager group of wide receivers. What he needs to improve on is scanning the entire field and finding the best possible target. This is something that we can excuse because of inexperience, but he's EJ Manuel if he doesn't make strides.

I'm not writing any books on Allen as his career has just begun, but this is a concern.

I think it'll be huge to get some better guys in the offseason for him to build some trust with his recievers.

I know in 2-3 days logic will prevail and folks will eventually see the bigger picture, but can we stop this salty cry baby talk after a loss? The Patriots have been to 8 Super Bowls in 16 years, we have a rookie QB going up against one of the greatest coaches in the history of all organized sports and he eats rookie QBs for lunch. No rookie QB on the planet will beat a Bill Belichick coached team and if they do they should buy a powerball ticket. Good news is we have a promising QB, a potential franchise guy. We got a good young nuclei to build around, 10 draft picks and 90 million. Look deeper than stats, there's more to it than that. Once we build an actual team around Allen you all will get the 4,000yds and 28 TDS you desire but for now it's about growth. This entire season was about Josh Allen, developing our young guys and pretty much getting a feel for our personnel. This entire season was nothing more than an audition. Playoffs in 2019. Sky is absolutely not falling.

All  NE has to do is beat the Jets next week and they have a 1st round bye and a home playoff game to go to the AFC Championship game......groundhog decade...

I didn't say they were good just better than they've been which has been abysmal.

What specifically was better? Give me a few examples other than the shoe tackle.

My dollars have voted - no tickets for me this year and it’ll be awhile.

Too many others won’t.

Returning and they did have some good stops on some of the Patriots returns.

I have yet to openly criticize McDermitt but today he was awful. His players werent ready, the game plan was awful and he just doesnt have the pulse of the game and adjust. Furthermore, another piss poor outing ST wise yet Crossman is still here?

Edmunds hasnt developed at all and today he had the worst day, imo, of his pro career.

Daboll called a terrible game - he doesnt have much to work with thou

Allen looked really bad at times- Draft another QB- not sold on this kid.

Kyles Mini Me does nothing for me, and KW looks like there is nothing left in the tank

Mckenzie just isnt an NFL WR and he scares me on Special Teams

Logan Thomas- dropped a sure TD

Say goodbye to Clay, Shady, KW, most of the OL, McKenzie, Alexander, Ford, Ivory and Hopefully Crossman.

Cool with all except draft a new QB - he's a rookie. And Lotelelui at 10 mil a year ?????

Not consistent enough- ask others what they thought of the special teams today.

Lack of NFL caliber on offense was on clear display today

Hey........today was the first time they scored an offensive TD against the Pats since McDermott got here though!

Progress!

It would have been hard to fathom going from being dominated by the Pats for 15 years to hiring a coach in Sean McDermott who the Pats don't even get up to play against and STILL blow his f*cking team out every single time.

Yeah they still weren't good but they did make some of those plays and didn't just hand the game over like against Miami.
