I would guess that the good-looking ones aren't the common streetwalkers who get busted during police stings. The attractive hookers are charging more money and servicing wealthy, powerful men. This keeps them shielded from the authorities, so we never see their mug shots.

These aren't hookers.  They're representative of a section of the female population who are attracted to money and power and will sleep with those who have said things. The whole prostitution thing is ridiculous in my eyes. Men buy women nice things all the time in an effort to get laid. Hell, I'm still doing it and I've been married 10 years.
