The season could have been much better.  If McDermott had committed fully to Allen at the beginning of camp and spent the entire season focused on Allen, he would be further along and the team might even be in the playoff hunt.  This season is a failure as a direct results of the Peterman debacle.  This season has to be McDermott's mulligan.  If next seasons is a a debacle, I don't want to hear about progress the team is making.  If the Bills do not win a playoff came next season, I will consider the McDermott reign a failure.

It was awesome except for the 4 games without watching Allen, it's the season that we've been missing for 20 years, the one where we are truly rebuilding starting with putting up with our rookie franchise QBs "learning" season.

It is now quite apparent that the win now and in the future was complete BS. This 2018 team was not constructed to win.  I would contend that with TT and Richie this team would be in the hunt for a WC and an outside shot at the division with the Patriots coming to town.

But McBeane were determined to blow up the roster and blow it up they have.

So with Allen, Edmunds, and Star's play to date are you ok with the lost 2018 season. You can add in the nice find of Foster but also need to factor in that Zay is now 14 games closer to being a total bust and waste of multiple picks. Because this lost season and another wasted defense is the cost of drafting and developing Allen/Edmunds.

For me, Allen is exactly what I thought he would be but I would have preferred him sitting behind TT and a shot at the playoffs in 2018. I simply don't trust McBeane to rebuild the offense. But as I've said before,  if they found the franchise leaders in Allen/Edmunds then it is worth the lost 2018 season.

But I live in Portland and only spend money for Sunday Ticket and travelled to Green Bay.

What say you season ticket holders?

So you are not a season ticket holder?

We are a young growing team.

Tt 60 yard games awesome. Glad he is gone.

I will keep my season tickets.

Growing pains going to happen.

Lost cause for playoffs in 2018 with TT, he will never take another team there again... he wouldnt have sniffed the playoffs this year and Josh would still be unknown.

At least Josh looks better than I expected.

When this NFL season comes to a close...I would much rather be in our situation than I would the Patriots.

After we got into the playoffs last year, I thought "This could be the start of something good!"

Then we lost the better half of our starting OL and traded away our QB.  And then I noticed we had the lowest paid roster in the entire NFL."   And so on.

So I decided to treat this year like a very long preseason for 2019 and watch what the young players offer and how they develop.

I'm not disappointed.  McD's club shows a lot of teamwork and grit.  The younger players are getting better.  The D is ranked #2 in the NFL.  And we have an immense amount of cap space to build a better offense next season.

I guess "lost season" isn't a bad way to describe the 2018 Bills.  But this was a necessary step to a good 2019 squad.  I'm feeling cautiously optimistic.

Pretty much what I had expected.  Terrible OL.  Terrible WRs.  Raw Rookie QB.  Solid defense.  Jerry Hughes was my favorite player and is our mvp.

What i didn’t expect:

+Robert Foster, Isiah McKenzie, Levi Wallace to play wel enough that I would consider them possible core players.  Especially Foster.  McKenzie needs to fix his fumbles.  Wallace has been exactly what we needed opposite Tre.  Eager to see him vs brady.

+ Matt Milano to become the second coming of Takeo Spikes.  Kid is a baller.  I had high hopes but he’s already hit what I though would be his ceiling.

+Taron Johnson becoming an undercover star.  Hopefully he can put some weight on and let injuries to become habit

+Josh Allen. He gives me hope.  Lots of it.  Better than I would’ve imagined

+ Jerrry Hughes was our best player imo. Lorax is an enigma and can play for 3 more years in my books.  Love that guy

- Dawkins has refreshed playing with lesser talent on the OL.  He and Teller should be our guards next season

im happy with the season.  Would’ve been nice to make a playoff run, but it wasn’t in the cards.  Is we could’ve pulled out wins in the 3 really close games vs the jets, fins and Texans and we’d be playoff contenders.  Looking forward to see who we add in free agency and the draft.

Beginning of the year I thought a successful season would be 6 wins while Allen builds that foundation.  Looks like that's the case.

Also:

-Beating the Jaguars at home was sweet. More or less officially putting the dagger into their season.  Revenge for last year's playoff game and big mouth Ramsey

-We won a close game at home against the Titans.  That is a team historically going back to the Music City Miracle we have lost heart breaking/devastating games against.  I feel the demons of the Titans have finally been lifted.

When Josh Allen goes into New England and whoops up on Tom Brady, you'll understand what's really going on here.

He's got the goods and he's gonna show it.

I don't consider it really a lost season.

The wins this year have been more entertaining to watch for me than the wins last year. Plus this year we got to watch a young QB that looks like the best shot the Bills have had at a potential star player at the position.

Lost season?  In term of wins and losses only. I have been more entertained this year than watching many games in the past decade.

I was expecting this.  I was a bit freaked out when they were playing like one of the worst teams ever, but morphed into what i expected.  I think they are on the right track, and the past 2 seasons were transition years (playoff run was an unexpected and unplanned fluke).

This offseason we will hopefully really see it start to take form

This season was pretty much what everyone expected. Nothing much to either remember or to forget. Years from now 2018 will go down as a 16 game gap in the 58 year history of the Buffalo Bills. Yawn!

I support all Bills players and I supported Tyrod Taylor. He lead us to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years. I admire his dedication to his craft and dedication to the Buffalo Bills. He's a good man who played his heart out for the Bills.

This is so wonderful.  Tell us more.

Especially about TT leading us to glory.

He didn't lead us to glory but he was a proud Buffalo Bill. I'm glad we have Josh Allen now because he represents the future and he's a better scrambler than Tyrod Taylor and potentially an even better passer than he could dream.
