Thielen is not the sure thing he was in FF. And Foster is the hottest WR in the NFL. It goes against conventional wisdom. Is Foster the better start over Thielen?
whatdrought Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I don't trust a rookie receiver, with a rookie QB, versus the hood. 1
Alphadawg7 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Just now, whatdrought said: I don't trust a rookie receiver, with a rookie QB, versus the hood. This ^^^ I like Foster as someone to use if you got injuries or something or in DFS. Tough to start him over Thielen when this is Josh first time facing BB. I’m optimistic, but also cautious this Sunday with the Pats game.
IgotBILLStopay Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I’d go Foster. not crazy at all. Gilmore is a great lockdown one on one corner but the Pats are using him in zone a lot so there will be opportunities for a speedster. And Daboll has shown a willingness to go for broke. And strangely enough I think better of Foster in the open field than the red zone. Given our field position will suck against Belicheat, Foster is intriguing. 1

OldTimeAFLGuy Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 ...the Foster kid was smart enough to heed the McDermott wake up call.....up to the active 53, released and resigned to PS.....only to be elevated again to the active 53.....the commitment was NOT there initially, but he is certainly showing up as of late....appearances in 11 games. having started TWO and already has more yards than his entire collegiate career....not bad, eh??............
Johnny Hammersticks Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Worst thing that can happen in the FF playoffs is to try and get cute. Go with what got you there. 2
frostbitmic Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Easy choice for me, I'd take Thielen against the Lions and not look back. Foster might get you 100 yards and a TD, or he might get you one reception for 8 yards. Thielen will catch at least a half dozen passes. 1

IgotBILLStopay Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Also depends upon the matchup. If you are going against a superior team in fantasy (based on past few weeks) pick players with more variance (Foster). With one 75 yard scoring grab he will count more than Thielen. If you have the dominant team, go with the sure thing.(Thielen). 1
Rico Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Foster. When it comes to $, never trust a high-motor lunch-pailer unless Tom Brady is the QB.
Boca BIlls Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Spencer Ware or Ingram easily, but hey I am only a pro... what do I know. ?

Magox Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 New England will look to stop Allen and Foster. They will try to keep Allen in the pocket and provide more shifting coverage towards Foster. This could end being Allen's worst game since hes come back. Certainly will be challenging, I'm excited to see how he responds.

I’ve started foster over him last week and was happy actually went to next stage because of it. I started McKenzie last 4 weeks and foster. This week Allen will start with the other two if all are good to go, ?.
Logic Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Belichick will scheme to take Foster out of the game , limit Allen's running, and force the Bills to beat them through the air with McKenzie and Zay. Which is to say: Be wary of starting Foster this week.
