TigerJ Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Yes, it is a fluff feature of the official Bills website, but there is one serious question that needs to be addressed. Will Tim Hortons withdraw their sponsorship of this segment because of the refusal of both Chris Brown and Sean McDermott to drink any coffee? I think in one segment, Chris Brown actually held the cup of coffee, but neither of them ever took a sip the entire season. Sean McDermott left his sitting on the table in front of him and wouldn't even look at it. From the view of the Tim Hortons chain, that can't be a very good promotion of their product. 1
Cynical Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Good. I hope Tim Hortons quits. I hear Krispy Kreme will be available in the off season. 2 2
RiotAct Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 hey, you never know what someone could have slipped into that coffee...
WhyteDwarf Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I think the whole segment is really silly, they should just stop doing it. It was goofy enough when they did it with Rex, with McDermott it just looks like both guys are super uncomfortable. 1
JoeF Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Maybe it should be Shots of Vodka with the coach....sponsored by Titos 1 4
Matty the Dustmop Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Shots of fireball and jager for McSlappy oh I mean McClappy
TroutDog Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I wouldn’t drink that swill, either. Even McDonald’s coffee is better than that garbage.
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 They could at least put something else in the cups and take a sip now and then, none of us would ever know—and everyone is happy with this controversy going the way of the Dodo bird?
boater Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 It could be prop coffee cups. McD doesn't strike me as the actor type.. drinking from an empty cup.
stevewin Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Someone needs to be fired.... Surprisingly, the segments are 100x less awkward than they were before - at least they have seats now so they are not having to stand there uncomfortably holding and not drinking their coffee - with a slightly less incomprehensible green screen background
Nanker Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Oh yeah, what if this is what they see? Or, what if one of them did this: Or did this?
Gugny Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Why don't YOU try clapping and drinking coffee at the same time, tough guy? 8

The Bills Blog Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I'd bet big money that the cups are actually empty. It is really weird though that Chris Brown gets really awkward about it whenever he is asked on One Bills Live.
Da webster guy Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 This is an offseason post, like something I'd expect in May. From my mom.

Damn, McDermott just moved up in my book. We should applaud him for admitting what so many WNYer's refuse to. Tim Horton's coffee kinda blows. Edited December 19, 2018 by stony 1

Maybe the should make drinkable coffee. 1
HomeskillitMoorman Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Tim Horton's coffee in the US stores is trash. I don't really blame them. But if Chris Brown as half the homer for them as he is for the Bills, he'd be chugging it faster than Bluto and his whiskey. 1
