row_33 Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 In Ontario each municipal region was given the opportunity to decide if they wanted to wait for a year, opt in (with no ability to cancel) or opt out of the pot-selling business. A few large areas opted out or to wait a year, my hometown being one of them. And 25 applicants of 17,000 or so were drawn as the first potential owners of licenses to distribute product legally, repping each agreeable area, but 90% of the province's area has 2. For which it is rumoured they are being offered millions to sell the lottery right. This will be interesting....
