Bakin Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Other than a few stupid penalties, was it my imagination or did the line look fierce today? Gave Josh a lot of time back there?? and this Ford kid looked good n shifty! 2
Helpmenow Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Wait until the pissed off pats get em next week. 1
billsbackto81 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Hmmm...... Where's that facepalm gif? 1
CincyBillsFan Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 You have to give credit where credit is due and the O-line pass protected very well in the 2nd half - particularly the 4th quarter. 2
Helpmenow Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Who did the play again the lowly lions. Will see next week
Steptide Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 One thing I liked is that Josh got the ball out fairly quick today. He definitely had some plays where he held it, but their was definitely progression in his play today. Good sign going forward. We'll see what he can do next week 2 1

Damn, some of you people are just miserable asshats. 3 5 2
atlbillsfan1975 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 As the season has gone on I’ve been less and less pleased with Dawkins. Seems less capable this season than last at LT 2
Mrbojanglezs Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 The Lions hardly blitz and drop a lot in coverage this was expected.
Hebert19 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 They looked good mostly because they only rushed 3, 4 and 5 all day. Mostly 4. They kept people at home to prevent Josh from running. This is less about them and most about their gameplan.
34-78-83 Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 The Lions played a spy on Josh all day which allowed a bit of extra time (a nice luxury to have for us!), but the line did a good job executing nonetheless!
Best Player Available Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Mills is a scrub turnstile. Teller is a very green rookie, Miller got pulled (i think) Dawkins? Hoping for a stud LT in the draft. they were awesome.

Mills if the worst of the 5 would be ok at RT if they upgrade center and RG. No one knows if Dawkins can play LG. Teller looks no better than Miller/Ducasse but he is young/strong/raw. The o-line is a total mess and has been completely botched by McBeane. Only WR is worse. 1

JohnC Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Our running game has to be predicated on between the tackles and quickly hitting the holes/seams plays. McCoy's style of running where he dances around is not going to work with this line. Even when there isn't much room gaining two to three yards can put your offense and qb in a much better situation of losing yardage trying to bounce it outside. Our OL play today was solid.

TFBillsfan Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Seems like Dawkins will get bounced to RT if we draft OT with our first pick. Teller struggled at times today but with a full offseason should start next year. Sign C and OG in FA if they can. If the Bills can improve the running game 50% next year, they will be a tough out on offense. Assuming the receiving core gets upgraded. 1

JA was standing behind a wall a few times and making it through his whole progression. Credit where credit is due. They are all growing as a team.
