SydneyBillsFan Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 (edited) Its pretty clear that Josh will continue to get solid numbers running the ball, but thats not why we drafted him. We also know he is not blessed with talented receivers and tight ends. With that in mind - when do we finally get to see him pass for 300 yards? I dont think it will happen this year. I am fairly confident it will happen early next season. It would be interesting to see what everyone else thinks. Edited December 16, 2018 by SydneyBillsFan
SydneyBillsFan Posted December 16, 2018 Author Posted December 16, 2018 Just realised that I disabled the "reply to this topic" option. Apologies for the rookie error.
Mrbojanglezs Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 New England trying to keep up with Brady. The other two games he won't have to
Bangarang Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Yards don’t matter, especially 300 yard games. At least that’s what I’ve been told around here.
mead107 Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 He will have 600 yards running and passing ? Today

Most certainly their nice if for nothing else than to keep the gang around here lacks knowledge about the game that keep clamoring for 300 yard passing games quiet.
The_Dude Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Don’t be discouraged if he doesn’t hit that mark this year. Not because it’s unreasonable to expect from a rookie, but because it’s unreasonable to expect from a rookie with this surrounding “talent.” 4
Beast Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 (edited) Next season (first half) with better weapons around him. Edited December 16, 2018 by Binghamton Beast 1
Buffalo03 Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 He's a Bills QB so I would say 2020 if he is still the starter. 1

wppete Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 We need to get Josh Allen some protection at OL and some weapons at WR to get 300 yards passing. Most likely next year. But I hope he runs for anothe 100 yards today and we win.
PlayoffsPlease Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 (edited) I don't think it will be this year, because they Bills have so few weapons. Stop for a moment and ask yourself, how would the 300 yards be spread around. The Bills have a weak cast of WR's and have no running backs or TE's who are good YAC guys. It just a tough proposition. Nick the Greek Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 300 yards passing who cares. Wins are what matter.
Dopey Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 I picked today because I think Detroit uses a spy on Allen and we take advantage. It helps if Clay and Zay don't drop passes.

Boca BIlls Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 It cant happen with this receiving core.

RiotAct Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 if not today, then sometime next season (probably the first half of the season).

They matter.
