can you imagine starting all over again, again?   just move the thing to Toronto and be done with it is that's the case.

It would be, as Yogi Berra once said, "Like deja vu all over again."

We just lost to the 3-9 Jets, at home, where they needed to come from behind in the last few minutes and win the game.

Who are we going to beat ?

Trust the process ?

"Process" is something you put in your hair to take the curls out..................

Beane is a dumb kid learning how to be a GM, for the first time.

McDermott is a dumb kid, learning how to be a HC, for the first time.

J Allen is a dumb kid learning how to be a NFL QB, for the first time.

They/we have a long way to go to get to the playoffs again.

So basically the glass is half full?

People who should be fired:

Gregg Williams and Joe Philbin (neither should get the permanent gig)

Vance Joseph (should have been fired last year - he's hopeless)

Dirk Koetter (God only knows why he was ever hired in the first place)

Steve Wilkes (in waaaaaaay over his head)

Adam Gase (personality is ill suited to being a head coach)

Marvin Lewis (it's time)

Todd Bowles (had his shot)

People who will be fired:

Philbin will not get the Packers gig (Williams is 50/50 IMO)

Dirk Koetter (see above)

Marvin Lewis (see above)

Todd Bowles (see above)

Vance Joseph (I think he had a chance of saving his job until losing to Nick Mullens - that sealed his fate)

Gase and Wilkes I think survive.

Don't see Mike Tomlin on the list.  Last year many were calling for him to go, with the latest meltdown losing 4 of the last 5 is it, can see him going.  It's a similar situation to what was going on in Green Bay.  Competitive every year, won a SB few seasons back, but each year getting just a little worse than the year prior.

It's going to be a very interesting offseason because of the limited amount of quality assistants out there. Harbaugh stated he isn't leaving Michigan. David Shaw might leave Stanford for the right job.

I think the biggest fish out there will be Mike McCarthy as the man did help develop Aaron Rodgers and won a super bowl. The guy does have a 125-77-2 record with 8 winning seasons out of 12. 13 Packer players on IR and the last time they were in this same situation record wise they ended up making the playoffs.

Josh McDaniel's would have been my first choice for big fish but he screwed himself when he took the Colts HCing job, hired coaches and then backed out.

Perhaps this is the year that Bill Cowher gets lured out of retirement?I just hope the Jets don't get McCarthy or Cowher.

Yeah I motion we shorten this list.

Not shortening the list.  It’s all about which coaches will not return to their teams in 2019.

Also if an an interim coach takes over and isn’t given the HC coach job, they basically have been relieved of their duties.  It’s a nicer way of saying they were fired

Bowles, Marrone, and Koetter will fired

Williams and Philbin wiil not be retained

Lewis will be transitioned into a front office position

So basically 6 fired coaches?

McDermott is not getting fired.

True, he's not going anywhere. Bowles and Joseph are definitely goners. Harbaugh may walk away, and Lewis my either retire or take a front office job

I don't care about any other team except the Bills. Crossman and Castillo gotta go...

McDermott deserves another year at least.

Daboll needs another year for a couple reasons:

1. Don't want Allen learning a whole new system

2. See what Daboll can draw up with better talent on offense

Frazier stays for sure (I just wish he would draw up some more blitz packages)

So HC, OC and DC are safe... Positional coaches can be replaced...

Maybe it's different with the Rooney kids running the show, but the Steelers tend to keep their HC through thick and thin. There were times when I thought Cowher would get the axe, but the front office stood by him and their patience eventually paid off when he brought in "one for the thumb."

I actually think Cleveland is more likely to remove the interim tag from Gregg Williams than fire him. He has that team playing competitive football. I thought they would tank under him as badly as they did under Hue, I was wrong.

But you need an offensive HC to succeed in todays NFL...  Or so I heard

Based upon previous conduct and unmitigated gall, few are as offensive as Gregg Williams
