McKenzie put together some pretty good teams, he just kept striking out when it came to hiring the right coaches for the teams he put together. Gruden's not the answer either. He didn't have to tear the team down like that, He had plenty to to start with and build on.

That brings up a good question.  Did McKenzie hire Gruden?  I was thinking Davis went around McKenzie and hired him directly.  I agree.  Gruden is not the answer.

Chucky wants more power...

Chucky can't afford to pay someone he and Gruden/Davis (WHO IS CHUCKY??) are going to constantly overrule anyway. He is a really bad owner..

No surprise by this move.  Thought it would have happened earlier this season.  It's Gruden's team, for better or worse.

Aren't Chucky and Gruden the same person?

Gruden's alter ego is Chucky.

From the character in some 80's or 90's horror movie, correct?

Gruden is really going to run that team into the ground.

I’m glad he won’t have anyone else to share the credit/blame with. It’s all on you (and your ego), Chucky.

Great Pictures Nanker and I always thought that was a perfect nickname for Gruden.....Looks just like him.  Wonder if the model maker for Chucky was a Gruden fan?

Raiders are going to regret hiring Chucky and he’ll be back in the MNF booth within the next 3 years.

And being on the hook for 60-70 million dollars
