dave mcbride Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Coin flip winners (ie, the luckier folks) have a distintive advantage, and it ain’t even remotely arguable. It is straight-up BS.
MJS Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 I disagree. I think they are perfectly fine. I think college football is a joke for OT rules. 1 1 1 3
JimKellyTryouts Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 I'd prefer 15 minutes as opposed to 10 since the receiving team definitely milks the clock and takes the thrill factor out of it; otherwise, I'm okay with it 3 1
greenyellowred Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Why shouldn't Philadelphia have had a chance on offense in OT? 3

Steptide Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 (edited) I think they should put 10 mins on the clock for ot, play out the whole thing and whoever wins, wins Edited December 10, 2018 by Steptide 3
vincec Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Just leave the games as ties. That's the most fair. 2 1

KD in CA Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Ties would be fine or playing a full extra ten minutes would be fine. Or it would be fine if people stopped crying and played defense.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 It should just be a 10 min quarter. When it’s over, that’s what the score is. Either that or just no time. Each team gets a possession. Play until someone wins

DCOrange Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 I still like the college rules but think the starting point should simply be moved back for the NFL so you have to actually earn the field goal.
