To see Allen develop into a surgeon-Esque Quarterback. to allow him to use these 3 games to experiment with all different sorts of throws. but if he is simply going to run for the sake of a first down pick up...I don’t like his ability to learn or develop as much if he throws more. 1

Allen should be working on those plays and throwing and learning 2

He’s league worst for throwing on 3rd down and picking up the first down. He needs to STOP RUNNING. And work on his craft. Without Allen running the offense has almost nothing. Half the time the receivers can't catch the ball and the opponents know the routes better then our own players. A very bad offensive line, no run game, save the QB. Somewhat bad receivers, bad offensive coaches IE line coach, ST coach. This team is lucky to win four games and not allow more blowouts. The last two games were winnable but lost due to the stupidity of the coaches. JMHO 1 1

More often than not he’s running because the line breaks down it’s not like he’s bailing on clean pockets all the time 1

WideNine Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 8 minutes ago, Tcali said: mmmmmmm......athlete yes...football player--yet to be determined Fair assessment, but I can see him getting better game after game with NFL-level coaching, and McD confirmed he was gimpy by the half. He has been taking too many shots - I actually think he takes less when he runs, but you have to build an offense that can pass from the pocket. Also does not help when you are down to your last running back who is the size of a smurf.
Tcali Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Just now, 78thealltimegreat said: Imagine if he just one decent receiver ? it would help---but still he has many many many things to work on. Very raw. And wastes a lot of scoring opportunities. A QB needs to take responsibility out there. Last week tons of yards a few points. Today tons of yards and hardly a point in the 2nd half. Some of that is on him also
Helpmenow Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Gregg Williams is doing a better job it appears than McDermott.

Left side of the line is ok, but is sabotaged by dumpster fire Groy being forced into action at Center. Jets Offense is also weak but stepped up today for their rookie, kept pressure at bay and didn’t drop every other pass. Ivory????
RaoulDuke79 Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Just another disappointment in a long line of disappointments. The world keeps spinning. Tomorrow is another day.
