Tcali Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 How many think he was in a ROIDFRENZY when he did that???
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 It ended up getting Bradshaw beyond C-A-T.
stuckincincy Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 IIRC, it was after Cleveland defensive end Joe "Turkey" Jones picked up Bradshaw and planted him head first into the turf that the NFL started to implement qb protection rules.
jas lac Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 How many think he was in a ROIDFRENZY when he did that??? 286731[/snapback] Haslett was a nut and the roids revelation explains allot, including the face stepping. I can't believe that people are making such a big deal out of this "stunning revelation" that allot of NFL players took steroids in the 80's. That's like someone divulging that many Hippies took LSD during the 70's.
bobblehead Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Haz only admitted to rocking up for a 6 week period in 1985, if I recall. He stomped on Bradshaw's head much earlier than that, I also recall. Still, I'm not fully buying Hazlett's story and would not be surprised if he was juicing all along.
seq004 Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 How can I forget. He said he didn't mean to but if I remember it correctly it looked liked he had every intention of kicking that bowling ball. I would love to see them put that film on the NFL Network or Classic again with the blood coming down his face. Haslett used to come to our nieghbor's house (The Siriani's) once in a while. They had a son Joe who was quite a good Pop Warner player and his Dad was a coach and so somehow they became friends.
