Anon Y. Mous Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 Hi coming up with my young son tomorrow. 2 questions for you all. How is the snow situation and where do you recommend that we park to avoid any “craziness”? Lol. Thanks in advance
Augie Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 How young is your son? Might I suggest Palm Beach? The old folk there are brittle. I bet he can take most of them!
TigerJ Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 I think the snow is pretty much a non-issue. They had some snow earlier in the week, but I think by now the roads are all cleared and tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, though not terribly warm (in the 30s). I can't really help with the traffic. When I have gone, I usually approached the stadium via 20a from the east because that's the direction that made the most sense for me. A lot of homes along 20a offer parking in their yards for a modest discount off official parking lot prices. As you get closer to the stadium, the discount shrinks. It's a pretty good walk from 20a to the stadium itself for a young kid without even taking a walk along 20a into account. So, it's a matter of balancing price to the amount of walking you want to do. I suspect that traffic might be lighter on 20a than it is on the north side of the stadium, but I'm not positive. 1
Augie Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 Hammers is the place to be, the people are kind and civil, even to an old guy like me. Most of the pure crazy stuff is banned. Check out that thread for a spot. Tell Mead I said hello!
