ChevyVanMiller Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Maybe the most important medical breakthrough of the past 50 years. Detecting all cancers in under 10 minutes with a simple, inexpensive blood test? Wow, millions of lives will be spared and we are a giant leap closer to a cure. https://www.foxnews.com/health/blood-test-can-detect-cancer-in-10-minutes-researchers-claim
row_33 Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Been hearing about this on the brink for at least 40 years
Shamrock Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 I’m actually recovering from prostate cancer surgery right now, been following this news for several weeks, mine was diagnosed in part from 1. Having familiar Hx and 2. Monitoring PSA level changes. There’s also the Clot Retreval for strokes, the vaccine for Melanoma, a potential end to Type 1 diabetes, a new medication to delay onset of Alzheimer. There’s a lot of great science coming through. At a a recent conference a medical friend informed that one of the speakers quoted that in 50 years about 30% of the procedures we undertake will have been made redundant. Science is amazing. 1

row_33 Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 The advances in eye surgery is evident as many around me zip in for cataract removal and are practically back to normal the next day. even 20 years ago this would have taken a long time to recover Promising utopia is a bad form of fake news one little step at a time 1
