Rico Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/12/04/washington-signs-josh-johnson/ Congrats Josh!
BringBackOrton Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 A truly deserving QB, even if he’s a bit older. Glad to see they can still get jobs in the NFL. The American dream is alive and well.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Hasn't made a play in the NFL since 2011. That's how desperate they are. They brought in EJ but he was overweight and out of shape.

Bleeding Bills Blue Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 I can't believe they didn't try out Peterman. I want his redemption story! 1

klos63 Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 remarkable that someone who hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL since 2011 was just signed.
quinnearlysghost88 Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Brady, Ben, Eli, Rivers, Brees and Rodgers are all done in the next 2-3 years. Then we will enter an all-time bottom of the barrel nfl qb era.

Cheektowaga Chad Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Wonder if he still plans to play for the San diego fleet
Dadonkadonk Posted December 6, 2018 Posted December 6, 2018 Exhibit #55 in the case against the NFL for blackballing Kaepernick. Argue if you want he is a bottom tier QB but there is no way he is worse than the bums teams are signing as back-up. Colt McCoy, Sanchez, and this has-been never was. 49 minutes ago, quinnearlysghost88 said: Brady, Ben, Eli, Rivers, Brees and Rodgers are all done in the next 2-3 years. Then we will enter an all-time bottom of the barrel nfl qb era. They said the same thing after Kelly, Marino, Elway, and Young...and they said the same thing after Staubach, Tarkenton, Bradshaw. Montana was the bridge in the early 80's, and Favre/Bledsoe in the 90's. There will always be another generation.

You'll never see an era in the NFL ever again where you have Peyton Manning, Rodgers, Brees and Brady all playing at the same time. It's insane what we got to witness. They're probably the best 4 QBs to ever play the game. You aren't going to have that when the current group retires, but you'll find other first ballot HOFers.

I would make a case for Cam. But either way. It’s not super impressive. We will see how Mahomes pans out.

Are they locks to become HOFers? Of course not, but I think they have as good a chance as anyone.

Wentz, Mahomes, Goff, Luck, and probably a couple of the rookies this year like Allen and Mayfield. I thought like you did a couple years ago, but then a bunch of good, young QB's emerged.
