Well crap.  I can't say Bodine was good

I think he was better than Groy

Any OL downgrade is bad

"Cut from the Packers OL" is not a recommendation this season.

No matter the quality I don't wish injury on any player.
I agree with the player evaluation and hope he heals well.

Look at the bright side, only 4 more games until the off-season upgrade.

The draft is pretty thin at C, looks like

Elgton Jenkins, Mississippi State

Tyler Biadasz,  Wisconsin

Erik McCoy, C/G, Texas A&M

Michael Jordan C/G, Ohio State

And FA we're looking at names like:

Ryan Kalil Car

Brett Jones Min

Nick Easton Min

Matt Paradis Den

The Carolina connection says Kalil.

Oh man. Lord I hope Allen makes it through the rest of the season healthy. Bodine isn't that good IMO anyways, but maybe we will get lucky and the new C they bring in will be half decent. Guess that's about all you can hope for as far as this goes.

Kalil had stated this is final season for him. But other posters here like Easton, Moorse, and Paradis. Im on board with a veteran center if possible

Didn't know he intends to retire.

O line woes abound.

I just wish McBeane had a better track record on offense. They have a good eye for D players but all our offensive personnel under them are late bloomers at best.

I guess part of it is not forgiving that Dawkins penalty late in the game yesterday.  It's going to take me a while to get over that crap.

Groy Boy will be the starting Center next week...

This is not good news...

Im a little surprised with how bad he has been this year...Hope he enjoys this last month at the Bills...

Bodine has been above my expectations... happy to have him back next year but I’m thinking I would prefer him as a backup and they upgrade in FA..

Groy, I'm not even sure is good enough to be a back up center.  He's just gotten really bad all of a sudden.

Bodine is out for the season and probably out of a starting position in Buffalo.  This is probably the most crucial area of our offensive line that needs to be fixed.  RG is next.

i think mills is a free agent next so they may be looking for a new rt

I think OC is one of the most important positions on the line -- charged with making protection calls and vital to the QB snap. Losing a quality player like Wood has been a big problem -- and I actually thought Bodine started playing decent. I think the Bills are likely to resign Bodine for next year as starter. Either him or another vet -- because looking around the league -- it is not a position that you can easily plug in a college draftee anyways.

The only team starting a rookie center is Arizona -- Mason Cole 2018 Third Rd pick

The two best draft prospects in 2018 (Billy Price and James Daniels) are backups for their teams.

Good list.  I'd put Mitch Morse right up there as well.

Curious if they will look at Ross Pierschbacher from Alabama in the draft?Moved from OG to C this season. He would be a great addition to the OL. Daboll would be familiar with him as well. I know it’s not flashy but OT or WR in the first with Ross in the 2nd if he’s available.
