Losing to the Cards in Lambeau is a death sentence but their roster has been weak for years

In some ways I feel bad for him. He has had a lot of bad luck and some incredibly bogus calls go against him. In the end though he made a number of blunders that killed them in crucial games. McCarthy's job was to make sure that he elevated all the talent that the team and put them in a position to win. Instead he had them second guessing themselves and losing to lesser teams.

No, because McCarthy had the best QB of this generation and underutilized him completely.
