Rockinon Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 There. Maybe that 28yd run will take a little steam outta Allen so he can put some touch on the ball instead of throwing lasers everywhere. 1
Lieutenant Aldo Raine Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Perhaps a bad throw on Allen, but on the replay Benjamin ran a lazy route, stopped running, then tried again once the ball was out. Shouldn’t have thrown it, but Benjamin is freaking loafing. 1

OldTimer1960 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 The out patterns were called liberally with Peterman who di not have the arm to throw them, Allen certainly has the arm, but they are never called 1

Coach Tuesday Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 I don’t even mind the INTs - it’s the complete lack of touch or accuracy that is making me nervous - I think his elbow is still off...

I would like to see him benched for sure. Get these younger faster guys out there more. Allen don’t have much time to throw need some guys who can get open fast 1
Big Turk Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Allen has the same stat line right now as last week other than INT's....8 for 19...a lot of throwaways...I'd say at least 5 Incompletions were throwaways

Warcodered Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 That was a great run but jeazus it looked like he lifted the ball over the guy as he went past him.

Big arm, very moble, questionable accuracy but seems to keep his team in most games. He’s a frustrating passer but a gamer.

par73 Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Will Allen's passing ever catch up to his running? That will determine his future, ultimately.

I get they don’t like Schmidt, but was it worth ruining the chemistry with Hauschka, especially when your team is so dependent on field goals to stay in ball games? Problem was Schmidt was horrible at punting

Youth and high school ball are losing players in droves. This game has to be played differently if it is going to survive. There is no reason for Alonzo's head to be above the receivers shoulders. He doesn't have to go low to the knees, but he needs to come down. The hit on Luck seemed rather touchy, but today's call has to be called. Rugby players can make these hits without colliding heads, so football players can too.
