An example of NFL.coms Mediocrity.

NFL.com has been awful but the level of mediocrity is getting to extreme.

Gregg Rosenthal ranked the NFL starting qbs 1-32 on nfl.com. Here is a link to this preposterous article.

All bias aside the biggest problem i have is with his assessment of Josh Allen...

" Sundays start against the Jaguars was intriguing. He had four throws and even more runs that made him look like a rich man's Blake Bortles at worst"

Now at face value this statement doesnt seem to harmful and actually quite positive. Yet he has him ranked 31st out of thirty two. With the tire fire Josh Mccown 4 spots ahead of him.

While he does need to work on his accuracy (52.5 completion percentage leaves alot to be desired) his decision making and playmaking ability does have bright spots for the future.

Rosenthal just always contradicts himself and flat out makes ingenious remarks and statements. Not to mention a deep hatred of Ben Roethlisberger constantly bringing up his charges and or making comments about his behaviour.

"The loss in Denver was a microcosm of Roethlisberger's season, with a number of impressive tosses, a few bad decisions and some eyebrow-raising comments to the media afterward."

Spelling errors aside what doea post game comment have to do with ranking a qb play?

This is the precise reason why getting nfl news and articles from NFL.com is terrible.

mediocre writers, doing terrible articles for nothing more than to get views rather than produce well articulated articles. NFL.com needs some serious adjustments. They need better writers who write articles that explore better aspects of the game we love.

Enjoy your weekends guys
