He was a wr in high school. He was decently fast. Once he started to gain weight he lost his quickness

I didn’t know that about Ben. Thanks Karol’s.

What a breath of fresh air Allen and the Allen family has been. This guy was vilified during the draft process, nice to see him earning some praise. Could not of happened to a better guy. The fire he brought last week reminded me of Brady or Rivers. Guy plays with serious balls, does whatever it takes to win.

They called him "baby" Big Ben, the word "mini" appears no where in the article - why the thread title??

"Mini" makes no sense - Josh is bigger than Ben - "baby" does make sense.

If so i hope only in athleticism & not in ego & being a spoiled sport when he loses !!

Not Josh, but daddy on the right

His dad looks like Ben Roethlisberger mixed with Tony Romo

Hopefully he's a lot smarter then Ben.  He needs to stay off motorcycles and out of seedy bathrooms and not force women to do things against their will.

Roethlisberger's arm strength doesn't compare to Allen's.

Nor does his character or sense of decency.

How can someone 6'5" and upwards of 240 lbs be a mini anyone?

Not only do I remember, I'm still miffed he didn't garner any Oscar buzz for his depiction of Fezzik in 'The Princess Bride.' To capture the nuance of such a complex character in such subtle tones was masterful.

I'm hopeful that will remain true.

I get the sense that that will never be a problem, but you never know. Not my biggest worry.

My best buddy is a lifelong “Stiller” diehard. This last Sunday was the first time we’ve gotten to sit down and watch ball together this year. After a half he says “You know, this guy reminds me a lot of Ben”.... I just nodded while wearing a grin from ear to ear.

Personally I think he’s a better athlete while being a less refined passer but I think it’s a solid comparison regardless.

Great story.
