ghostwriter Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 What a breath of fresh air Allen and the Allen family has been. This guy was vilified during the draft process, nice to see him earning some praise. Could not of happened to a better guy. The fire he brought last week reminded me of Brady or Rivers. Guy plays with serious balls, does whatever it takes to win.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 It's a good comparison to make early in Allen's career.
US Egg Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 (edited) Yeah, being called a mini anything is always complimentary.... ....."not" !!!!! Edited November 30, 2018 by I am the egg man
BobChalmers Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 They called him "baby" Big Ben, the word "mini" appears no where in the article - why the thread title?? "Mini" makes no sense - Josh is bigger than Ben - "baby" does make sense.

BurpleBull Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Roethlisberger's arm strength doesn't compare to Allen's.

YodaMan79 Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 Hopefully he's a lot smarter then Ben. He needs to stay off motorcycles and out of seedy bathrooms and not force women to do things against their will.
K-9 Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 How can someone 6'5" and upwards of 240 lbs be a mini anyone?

Not only do I remember, I'm still miffed he didn't garner any Oscar buzz for his depiction of Fezzik in 'The Princess Bride.' To capture the nuance of such a complex character in such subtle tones was masterful.
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted December 1, 2018 Posted December 1, 2018 To me Allen is so much like Cam Newton.. Just a little less of a passer right now. 1

This last Sunday was the first time we’ve gotten to sit down and watch ball together this year. After a half he says “You know, this guy reminds me a lot of Ben”.... I just nodded while wearing a grin from ear to ear. Personally I think he’s a better athlete while being a less refined passer but I think it’s a solid comparison regardless. Great story.
